In the Kunstmuseum Bern there's an exhibition about the artist Tracey Emin. I was very impressed by her artwork I didn't know before. I admired very much her Monotypes - went home and did my first Monotypes after years and realized how much fun it is!

I like your dogs :)
Tolle Hundis {wuff} :)
did you do these dogs? very nice ones : ) such character
I like these very much Schanette!
Monotypes are addictive. Endless possibilities...
ooops, Schanett!
esti: thank you!
lea: yes. I did them. they wanted to be drawn by me...
jennifer: didn't know the word addictive. but now I completely agree! once I started with the dogs I had more than 25 at the end!
very nice dogs:) i don´t know the technic, have to try to read introduction you wrote to Maike..good german practise again;)
cute dogs, perfect for me as today I'm in a "dog mood"!
Hope you're feeling less tired! I know I am not! hehe ;)
outi: I tried to find some pictures about monotypes on the web. how it's made. I didn't find. tell me if you don't understand the introduction I wrote - I'll try to translate in English though.
about me going to Helsinki: it's just an idea I have for years and now I have in mind making this idea coming true. but: I would like doing something if I would come to this town. as I'm by my own. I don't like walking day for day in the cities. if I'd come I would try to find a place, a project, kind of "Praktikum" or whatever (if you have any ideas...!). don't want to earn money with but just having something to do and at the same time living in a town and know it better. do you understand what I try to say? but if I could come depends from what I'm going to do after my actual work. if I'll have time to travel...
I'll let you know as soon as I know more about my pipe dream!
caroline: "dog day" means you have to care for some dogs today?
yes, I'm less tired!! think it's because I was sitting at the river for stocking up on some sunshine! I think it worked!!
you know: vitamin D!!
;-)
If you do the same and it works too we could write some studies about it!!
No, unfortunately there are no dogs around today. It's dog day because I miss my dog a lot and decided to spent the afternoon looking at cute puppy videos on the net :)
Today is finally sunny here so maybe I'll go out and see if something happens hehe
beautiful serie! I bet you had fun making these!
ninon: yes! a lot of fun! how do you know??
Lovely and inspiring !!! Love your new picture profile...
Using of line is in the best way!The drawings are so great and powerful!!!
janou-eve: do you mean the small selfportrait? merci! I didn't want to put a photo but I think a drawing is okay...
parisa: you're right! lines are so rudely and can be very powerful and beautiful at the same time. I'm a big fan of drawings I would even say it's my favourite technique.
i understand you totally! meinem Freund always has to have some "purpose" when we go traveling, some project or a task. and i understand this very well:)
i also like to have a "project" when going abroad, even though i can easily spend days just walking and walking;D
Hmm, i have to think..you already graduated, so exchange with a school is no option? or an artist residence? check this for the beginning:

and we will think about this..
yes ! The small self-portrait, I really like it !
outi: thank you very very much! I'll check this page! an artist in residence would be a "geniale idee"!! I already informed me about connections between Switzerland and Helsinki some months ago and didn't find anything but now it seems as if there would be other possibilities... I get excited...!
what personalities!
woof!
love these!!!!
I like the 5th one it looks like our Kelly a lakeland terrier. Cute drawings.
