I'm running from one corner to another - what takes me too much time right now.
Don't know whether it's only a short phase or a longer one.

I only know I have to take a break. Meanwhile I thank you for every single comment I got throughout the last months!

publisher

Two things I want to show you:
first picture is the logo of NIEVES. A zine publisher I really really like. Really like!
Second one is from PIPIFAX. An independent comic publisher. They print gorgeous books in serigraphy as well (I'll post one of it in the next days).

The little red one

I was tagged by ninon some weeks ago!

8 things I'm looking forward to:
  • hike in the mountains tomorrow
  • eating the first salad from my garden
  • having finished my substitution at the end of the actual school year
  • meeting again and talking to my dear friend G. - she is finally back from India!
  • barbecue with my family on Sunday
  • the first strawberries from my country (I don't like to buy imported fruits and vegetables)
  • watching the film of Ritva's grandson in the cinema in autumn (hopefully!)
  • surprising activities, ideas, plans, meetings, ...

8 things I did yesterday:
  • I made a few people laugh without having the intention
  • I cooked some noodles with arugula sauce and cucumber-carrots-salad and I ate it with very good appetite
  • I decided to go to Zürich the next day (today!) to the "Museum für Gestaltung" to see an exhibition about design
  • I went to a Vernissage and the following barbecue although I didn't know hardly anybody
  • I put on my favourite and eye-catching shoes
  • I thought about going to a shoemaker one day and make him confecting a pair of shoes for me
  • I thought this would be kind of nice luxury
  • I talked to a pretty man and asked him if he knows a cello player who could teach me
8 things I wish I could do:
  • talking to this pretty man again and to make him laugh
  • finding a house together with G. (and other people?), living there, having many rooms and one room would be opend for "artists-in-residence" or the like
  • having a garden with fruit trees
  • having a well paid part-time job and having enough time for my illustrations besides
  • sailing
  • a tatoo that could be easy and completely removed after a few years
  • a long long hike in a foreign country
  • being a good godmother to a child
8 shows I watch:
I don't live with a tv for about 15 years and don't know any actual shows

8 people I'm tagging:
who would like to think about this?

corner view "coffee"

As my camera doesn't work at the moment I'm not able to show you my coffee grinder, nor my espresso machine, nor the sight I have while drinking coffee. That's why I show  the absolutely best coffee I ever had to you!
PASSALACQUA!!
Definitely!

In Napoli (50 meters from the trainstation!) there's the best coffeebar and they use these beans for their coffee!
It's worth taking the train, going to Napoli, getting of the train, walking 50 meters, ordering an espresso, drinking it, walking back to the station, taking the train, traveling home...

Enjoy this corner view day!

Okapi

There are not only strange cameras but animals as well!
The Okapi for example!
It's a very interesting and very beautiful not well known animal. It's hardly seen in zoos because it's rare and shy.
A few weeks ago I saw Jennan's drawing and I told her we made kind of comic strip about this animal as well. I promised to show the result on my blog.
Today it's the day!
The picture are from Luzern, where we presented our work to the comicfestival.

art camera

This is what my camera suddenly did.
Kind of extraordinary photos.
My studiomate said: "Wow! Cool! It's an art camera now!"
You recognize in my expression that this fact didn't made me as happy as him...

While my camera will hopefully recover from its art-phase I'll take a look at my archive.
Have a nice weekend! See you next week!

corner view "the great outdoors"

I love pure nature.
Animals as well. (This is not mine.)
I grew up next to a lake and to a small river and I am always looking for water in a new city.
There are many beautiful landscapes! I like this one I passed by bike last Saturday: next to my town there is a wine-growing region!
I like human traces in the outdoors.
Often. Not always.
