Sturm

Stürmiges Wetter! Regen, Wind, Wolken.

Stormy weather! Rain, wind, clouds.
I'm sitting and waiting for inspiration.
Sometimes I look outside and at the woodcut on the window board. I made it a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I forgot to cut it mirror-inverted. The prints are weird though.

that woodcut is super! you have tested it already? i like it very much.

water dropping from the roof and eaves (Traufe?), it´s getting warmer. i hope it doesn´t start to drop inside too, there is just so much snow on the roof that i wonder what´s going to happen when it all starts to melt..

a big HUG for you J!

hehe, i think prints are sometimes difficult too! but i hope you're doing well, even maybe with the rain. sometimes it feels so clean and good, but we all need a little sun sometimes too. sending some nice rays your way! have a great new week! a hug from me too, i hope that you know elisabeth dunker mentioned your work in an interview a while back... :)

outi: I did a print of this woodcut. but as I didn't cut the wood mirror-inverted the print looks very quirky. the water going from right to left through the house does not work.
so either I'm just conserving this woodcut as an "artistic" piece of wood or I have to recut it.

it's difficult to imagine there is even more snow in your city then when I've been there. the cars must have had even much more difficulties to conquer the snow hills next to their parking places.

jenna: thank you jenna! the rays you sent arrive right now!! have to pull the curtain a little bit to have a good sight on the computer screen.

and yes! I felt very, very honoured to see, that elisabeth had mentioned me in the interview! and I like your interview serial!

sarapirat: welcome on my blog! nice to see you here! the storm seems to have gone through half of the planet. we were lucky it didn't be so strong in our countries than in our neighbour ones.

lovely world: I'm sure the animals will be a big success on etsy! they are absolutely great!

I did just the same, but I'd only carved out of an eraser, so no big deal. My ego was a little sore though:)
