I envy you: no insurance, no tax, no gas, no nails in the tyers, no children car seats to buckle ... but I wouldn't get very far here!
francesca: sometimes I would like having the driving licence. for holidays and when I have to move. but I can't convince myself doing it as this moments of I-would-like-having-a-car-right-now are too rare. but I realize if I would move to another country I probably would have no chance without the licence.
sorry for the first post,
me too, no driving licence
Perfect ! I just love that last photo !
Hey Schanette! Great shots. I hardly drive and don´t miss it. I live in a city planned by a mayor who didn´t drive. I can get everywhere faster by walking than driving... really...
nice ride!
kaylovesvintage: great! I'm not the only one!! (sometimes people look at me as if I would come from I don't know where. they don't understand how someone is able to survive without licence. ;-)
bonnie: and do you know how much I love my bycicle?!
jane: I agree absolutely! in a city it doesn't really help using a car, does it?!
cate: I saw it for the first time this morning, that my bycicle is calles renard = fox!! I like this name for a bycicle very much!
walking and biking is the best anyway :) (nice shoes!!!)
as my first picture is a bike on a train you and me seem to have the same preferences:
train - walk - bike!
This is also one of my favorite modes of transportation :)
I don't think these pictures could be any more fantastic!! LOVE them!!
I think most peoples stress level would dramatically decline if they didn't have a drivers license!
Love this post!
no driving licence.
all of my family has.
i´m proud of myself.
i am.
love your post!
It seems like everyone has a bike...
I want to get one too!!!
Love these photos! Thank you for sharing!
haha I love it! Very well put and I love the pictures! Great job of your corner view!
Beautiful corner view.
great pictures.
I like all the photos, but the last one is my favorite is the bike seat. xoxo
Foot and bike travel is much less expensive than owning a car and better for the Earth. :) I wish I had the option to walk everywhere, but everything is much too far from us.. lovely photos. :)
Fantastic photos! The driver's license test in Germany was soooo hard, but I passed and I am so glad it is finally over! If you lived somewhere in the U.S., it would be almost mandatory to have one. Unfortunately, the public transportations systems are not as good as they are here in Europe. The further out in the country you go, the less chances one has to actually make it without a car.
oh, I love that bike seat!
MODsquat: you make me blushing! thanks a lot for your nice comment!
ritva: hey you nordic sister! we got along without licence very well don't we?! how couldn't we with such beautiful bikes we both have!?
natsumi: thank you for your words! I have to say that my city is very calm. I don't know if I would have the courage to cycle in a city like NY.
the girl in the yellow shoes: thanks! I like the first photo of your corner view! all the colours in the nigth!
thanks for coming around and putting a comment. caitlin! lisa! kari!
joyce: I will take some other pictures of my bike because it has some other nice details! ;-)
erin: I appreciate we have very well organised public traffic and distances in Switzerland are quite short. if not it' would not be that easy without licence.
allison: see above! I know what luxurary we have in my country concerning public traffic and distances and I am aware if I would move to another country it wouldn't probably be as easy as it is now - life without licence.
denise: :-) I love it too!!
No driving licence too. But I have a beautiful bike! :)
Great pictures!
i got the license when i was like 25 years old. but i have never had a car and i don´t really drive..so, no sense?
but i´m driving my bike!
I actually had to laugh about this post. First some great pictures and the end says: No driving licence. Fun post!!! Thx for the smile, Carmie.
Oder hatte Ich alles aufs Deutsch schreiben mussen?? Ist ja egal oder??
