ps. do you remember when i told you that i was somewhere where even the wild horses could not have prevented me from going? well, now i have that link in my blog ;)if you like to see... hugs!
3 carrots, 1 big sweet potato, 1-2 potatoes. chop all in to quite small pieces, cook in the water (not too much) with a little salt or buillon as long as they get soft. then take off from the heat and squash with the mixer smooth. put back on the heat for a while and add some soft cheese (for cooking). stir until it melts and then turn off the heat. chop some fresh herbs in, like thyme or coriander and add in. if you like you can also add some roasted sunflower seeds or hemp seeds on the top. you can also variate with many different kinds of vegetables this. red roots and sweet potato go well together too:)
fetasalad is even more easy. just choose some green salad, cucumber, dried and fresh tomatoes, olives, fresh broccoli and good feta cheese. chop and mix together and make a sauce with olive oil, balsamico, hint of salt and fresh rosemary. good and fast;)
francesca: about the embroidering the problem is: I have everything: handkerchief, yarn, embroidery hoop - but I can't decide what to stitch!! if you have a good idea...
I think everything could be nice - I just have to decide...
jane: no. sadly not. I would like to embroider! I have all I need to do it - but I should findally start!
outi: I think these flowers feel okay at my home and the real flowers I better look at and admire in the garden. so I don't have to feel sorry when they're dying after 2 days... or, what's okay as well: blooming plants!! ;-)
ninon: sure! I always like being tagged and I'll do it as soon as possible! thank you!
ritva: yes I remember very well the horses trying to get you and your beautiful long hair away...--- and now I understand not even 100 horses had the force doing it!
isabelle: ;-( no. it wasn't me... but: I found it!! on a market in Sicily!
janou-eve: thank you! we already had kind of summer day today! how is it in canada?
gern geschehen! red roots are really really good in a soup like that. and by the way, blue cheese and thyme go very well in to red root-sweet potato soup.. and better not tell to the red roots.. or who knows if they are just waiting for the big day to end up in the Topf.. ;)
Thanks for asking Schanett ! Picture from "pique-nique" was our first "summer" day. Over 20 celsius, humidity and love in the air... ! - - - I wrote Outi's recipe !!!
