As I prefer warm food and drinks at any time my favourite breakfast is the one on the last picture: Cooked apples with roasted oat flakes and yogurt is standing every second day on my table - what's not a typical Swiss breakfast!
My advice is to replace the butter and to put tahina instead of it! The combination of jam and tahina is worth trying it!!

ps. i found a link to that film (the silk road). take a look in my blog, it´s in finnish though.

jam and tahini is a good idea, i´m going to try it!
i do like jam bread, or Zopf with butter and honey too. but that´s more for the sunday;)
musli is also good! musli i eat in Switzerland. with nature youghurt and maybe a bit honey there too..
mmmm looking great!
Almost looks like mine...only with tahini instead of cream cheese :)
jam and tehina... interesting, must try that. i totally love all your tableware and the setup. the white bowl with big red dots totally caught my eye.

Your breakfast looks absolutely delightful! If it's alright, I would love to join you and Ritva in heartbeat.
I love your polka dotted dishes! All of the food looks delightful! Thanks for sharing and I agree, I prefer warmer food.

isabelle: :-) tell me if you like it!
ritva: sure you can! whenever you like! perhaps you will meet julia at the table!
bonnie: thanks!
outi: you're Swiss!
or at least your breakfast abilities are...
will you tell me if you like the tahina with jam? would like to know that I'm the only one who acquires this taste.
mieke: thanks!
janis: hey! yours looks delicious! strawberries! hm!!
trinisch: I'm sure where you live you'll find much more delicious tahina than I have here... and about the dots: I love dots on tableware! I have many cups and dishes and a can and bowls wish dots in white and red... I don't know. could be it's somehow tipical for my country? ;-)
Kaylovesvintage: I eat cotted apple for months now and I still love them! I put some lemon, cinnamon and/or coriander together with the pieces of apple.
Jenna: just come arround and take a seat! you'll meet ritva, julia and me!
caitlin: I finally found someone who doesn't like frigid food as well!
lea: about the english I have to admit it's the worl language!! ;-) the blogger language!
cele: thanks! yes, my breakfast is simple and I like it for the cotted fruits, as apples are the only fruits I get every season in my country. so I can eat vitamines for breakfast the whole year!
ani: sometimes I like eating breakfast in the evening! -- musli or yogurt or bread and jam
allison: in deutschland hast du zöpfe gesehen? ich kenne auch welche aus leipzig. sie sind dort jedoch ein bisschen anders vom geschmack, weil wir sie hier bei uns mit viel butter im teig backen!
natsumi: you're welcome to join as well! sure! julia, ritva, jenna will be there as well!!
joyce: :-)
epe: yes! and I would like to know who of all you will like it or not!!
erin: could be your boys will like it as well! I hope they will!
